So why do other internet retailers continue to promote ready made blinds? Simple - because they can offer lower prices due to ready made blinds being mass produced and a lower quality. Where does this leave you, the customer? Well, these retailers expect you to buy the next size up and either trim the blinds your self or fit them as they are. If you do leave them as they are, they have to be fitted around the recess which is not making the best use of your sill space. The only alternative is to trim them down to the size of your recess manually. This can be very time consuming and fiddly, and can often leave an unprofessional finish.

As part of our website relaunch, we have recently refreshed the electric blinds section of our website. We have a fantastic range of automated shading. All remote blinds are easy to operate and are available to buy online at great prices. We have a large number of fabrics in our electric blinds section. However, these are not the only fabrics that we can offer. More fabrics from the Louvolite collection will be added to the website over the coming months. One of our first articles in the blog section was ‘Benefits of Perfect Fit Blinds’. Well, since then, the Perfect Fit “no-drill” blinds system has been growing in popularity, so we have decided to expand upon our original article and create a whole series of posts expanding on the individual benefits of the Perfect Fit Blinds system. If the answer to these questions is YES, then Perfect Fit Blinds should be compatible with your aluminium folding doors or windows, but it would also be useful to check the following: 5) Will the Perfect Fit frame prevent your door system from folding properly? 6) Is it possible to slide the brackets between the glass and the seal?

You should follow these instructions if: You are installing your blinds outside of the recess. You are fitting your blinds within a recess but want to make your own deductions. Measure the *blind width* of where you'd like your blind to be. Note down the measurement. Measure the blind drop: From the top of where you want your blind to be to the bottom. Note down the measurement. To ensure minimum light gaps and maximum privacy, we recommend that your blind overlaps each of the four sides of the recess by at least 50 mm. When you enter your measurements on our site, select size type as "exact blind size". We will not make any deductions. We will make the blind exactly to your measurements.
