Full Tilt and Lift Automation by SOMFY
The high-quality 25mm aluminium venetian blind slats can be both tilted and raised at the touch of a button for the ultimate convenience. The leading-edge SOMFY Tilt and Lift motor is concealed within the sleek headrail of the blind.
Handset Control with Precision Tilt
Blinds can be controlled using one of our range of SOMFY Situo Variation handsets, which features a clever 'dial' which allows precision tilt of the slats to any angle between fully open and fully closed.
Mobile App, Voice Control and Smart Home Integration
When paired with a SOMFY TaHoMA Hub, electric venetian blinds can be controlled using a mobile app. Tahoma can also be connected to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice control. SOMFY RS485 Transmitter or SOMFY Dry Contact Transmitter allow integration with most brands of Smart Home Systems and Building Management Systems.
Battery, Solar or Plug-in Power
No tricky cabling or mains power needs to be installed at the window. Your blind can be powered using a discrete rechargeable battery pack, which can be trickle-charged using a solar panel. Alternatively, if you have a standard 3-pin plug socket near to the window, the motor can be powered using a plug-in power supply.

Child Safe By Design - Motorised Operation: Electric Venetian Blinds can be operated using an integrated motor. We call this ‘Child Safe by design’ as there are no looped cords or chains required to operate the blind.
About Child Safety
At newblinds.co.uk, child safety is of paramount importance. If left hanging freely, chains and cords from blinds can pose a direct threat to children. For this reason, we are working towards all of our products being cord-less or chain-free and therefore “safe by design”.
Where it is not yet feasible to supply a product that is “safe by design”, we ensure that the product is fully compliant with Child Safety legislation. Not only do we ensure that, where necessary, our products are supplied/fitted with child safety cleats/devices, but we also supply, free of charge, these items to our previous customers.
