Privacy Roller Shades
Our range of privacy roller shades offer both enhanced sun-shading and privacy as a simple roller blind, which can be operated by either a traditional chain or an integrated motor. Available in a range of popular colours, this durable translucent fabric will allow a degree of natural light to pass and provide privacy from the outside world.

Roller Blinds and Child Safety
Child Safe - Chain with Child Safety Breakers:
As standard, this product is operated with a loop of chain (in white plastic) which will be fitted with two child safety connectors. These connectors allow the chain to break apart when placed under load. If the chain does break apart, the child safety connectors allow the chain to be easily joined back together. To comply with child safety legislation, the chain will be manufactured at 1 metre in length. Child safety devices have been fully tested in compliance with British safety standard EN13120. You will find details of how to install the devices in the installation instructions. Please contact our friendly customer service team if you need any further advice. Please note that beds, cots and other items of furniture should not be positioned next to operating chain, so that the chain remains out of reach of small children.
Child Safe by Design - Motorised Operation (Optional Extra):
As an optional extra, you can upgrade your blind so that it is operated using an integrated motor. The motor is powered using an integrated rechargeable battery and operated using a simple radio handset. We call this ‘Child Safe by design’ as there are no looped cords or chains required to operate the blind.

For this reason, we are working towards all of our products being cord-less or chain-free and therefore “safe by design”. Where it is not yet feasible to supply a product that is “safe by design”, we ensure that the product is fully compliant with Child Safety legislation.
