Important Notes: Blackout capability of Perfect Fit Blinds
Fabric selection for blackout: Perfect Fit blinds using blackout pleated fabric are not 100% light-tight. You will still experience light ingress between the frame and fabric. Pleated blinds also have holes which the lifting cords run through. There will consequently be light ingress through these holes. Cellular pleated blinds, in blackout fabric such as THERMOSHADE or LUNA, do not have cord holes, but there will be a degree of light ingress between the frame and the fabric. For 100% Blackout Blinds, please email [email protected].
Perfect Fit system (frame and componentary) is not designed or intended to create a lightproof seal. There will be light ingress around the edges of the fabric. Depending on the snugness of the fit of your Perfect Fit frame to the window, you may experience some light ingress around the frame and between corners. Corner mouldings are simply nylon "skins" which may appear translucent in strong sunlight.

A plain cellular dim-out fabric in a range of natural colourways. Blinds have a clean, modern appearance, as lifting cords run through the core of the honeycomb structure, meaning no visible holes or cords.

Child Safe Perfect Fit Pleated and Cellular Blinds
Perfect Fit Pleated and Cellular blinds are ‘safe by design’ as they do not have cords. They are raised and lowered by a discrete tab handle on the bottom rail.
About Child Safety
At newblinds.co.uk, child safety is of paramount importance. If left hanging freely, chains and cords from blinds can pose a direct threat to children. For this reason, we are working towards all of our products being cord-less or chain-free and therefore “safe by design”.
Where it is not yet feasible to supply a product that is “safe by design”, we ensure that the product is fully compliant with Child Safety legislation.
