What are Perfect Fit Venetian Blinds?

Louvolite Perfect Fit Venetian blinds have been designed for easy, no-drill installation to your windows, doors or conservatory. They are built to provide a sleek, stylish look and effortless light control.

The product consists of blinds with 25mm aluminium slats, mounted within a frame, which is made from long-lasting powder-coated aluminium and is available in popular colours.

The blinds clip-fit into the beading and once installed, the blinds have the appearance of being an integral feature of your windows.

Perfect Fit Venetian Blinds are child-safe by design. They are raised and lowered using a tab handle on the bottom bar. The aluminium slats of the blind are easily adjusted for light-control by rotating a transparent tilt-wand. 

You can customise your blind to suit your room style by selecting from a vast range of finishes. We have standard whites, creams and neutrals as well as brighter hues such as yellows, purples, oranges and reds for those who wish to make a feature of their blind.

For those who prefer the more traditional look of wooden blinds at a lower cost, we have wood-effect slats. We also have a range of metallic finishes including silver, gold, and copper.

Which rooms are Perfect Fit Venetian Blinds suitable for?

Perfect Fit Venetians are the ideal product for rooms which require light or glare control but do not require blackout - such as bathrooms, offices, living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms.

Perfect Fit Blinds can be installed in bedrooms. However, on their own, they will not provide a good level of blackout. For light exclusion, we would suggest combining the clean aesthetics of Perfect Fit venetian blinds with a set of curtains or even a standard blackout roller blind fitted around the recess. In this situation, the perfect fit blind provides day-time privacy and light control, whereas the roller blind or curtain provides an extra layer of fabric to achieve a greater level of blackout.

Alternatively, Perfect Fit Honeycomb pleated blinds provide an enhanced level of blackout, ideal for bedrooms.

Perfect Fit Venetian Blinds are well suited to kitchens and bathrooms as the aluminium is moisture resistant and will not rust. Also since they fit directly to the window or door frame, they leave sill space clear.

Can Perfect Fit Venetian Blinds be fitted to Doors?

They are not suitable for all door types. Firstly, the glass must be internally beaded, and must use rubber gasket beading but not glazing tape. Commonly, they are fitted to french and bi-fold doors. But they are not suited to sliding patios.

Can Perfect Fit Blinds be removed for cleaning?

Remember that the blind clip-fits during installation. They can be removed in seconds by unclipping the blind from its brackets, giving you access to the glass behind.

Do you sell venetian blinds without the Perfect Fit frame?

There are still many situations where you may find it beneficial to install standard aluminium venetian blinds without the Perfect Fit frame. A good example of such an application would be a larger window, because the maximum size allowed for a perfect fit venetian blind is approximately 1350mm wide x 2100mm drop. Of course, many windows are larger than this size. So where this is the case, rather than splitting the window into multiple blinds, you may prefer to have a traditional screw-fixed aluminium venetian blind, which can be purchased here.
