Single Pleated
Single Pleated Blinds use the traditional single layer fabrics that we've all seen for many years in conservatory blinds. They are a cost-effective solution to controlling light and privacy. Many of our single pleat fabrics, including the REFLEX range, have solar reflective coatings on the rear of the fabric, which reduce glare and act as a thermal barrier. For those looking to darken the room, take a look at our NIGHTSHADE fabrics, which are perfect for colder months. Voile
A plain, light-weight sheer fabric in a range of natural colours, which will allow diffused natural light to pass into your room. Voile is fire retardant and made from 100% polyester, ideal for allusion blinds.
DUOSHADE Cellular Translucent Blinds
Energy Efficient and with no visible holes for the lifting cords. Cellular (a.k.a Honeycomb or Duette fabrics) are fast overtaking single pleat fabrics as the most popular choice for pleated blinds. Cellular fabrics consist of double layered cells of fabric which acts as an insulating cushion between the inside of your home or conservatory and the outside world - keeping heat in during winter months and keeping your property cool in summer! Lifting cords run through the middle of the honeycomb structure, meaning there are no visible holes in the surface of the fabric. All fabrics are a uniform white in colour on the exterior face, and coloured on the inside face. Cellular Blackout fabrics (a.k.a Honeycomb or Duette Blackout) consist of double layered cells of fabric which act as an insulating cushion between the inside of your home or conservatory and the outside world. Our THERMOSHADE blackout range also incorporate a reflective foil layer inside of the cell, which further enhances insulation - reducing your energy spend on heating and cooling and potentially saving you money! All fabrics are a uniform white in colour on the exterior face, and coloured on the inside face. Lifting cords run through the middle of the honeycomb structure, meaning there are no visible holes or light ingress through the surface of the fabric. Whist the fabric itself is blackout, you may see light ingress around the edges of your blind.

Perfect Fit Pleated Blinds are the stunning "no drill" pleated blind system from Louvolite that will transform your conservatory or any room in your home. The blinds are installed with brackets that slide between the glass and the rubber gasket behind the window beading. Once the brackets are in place, the perfect fit blind frame simply snaps into place onto the brackets.
Easy to Install - Easily Removable
Both methods of installation make the blinds not only very easy to install, but also very simple to remove for cleaning of the inside of the window and the window frame.
A note on fabric selection for blackout
If you are looking for a higher level of light exclusion, we'd recommend our cellular blackout fabric LUNA.
Non-cellular (single pleat) fabrics have holes punched in the fabric which the lifting cords run through. There will consequently be light ingress through these holes. Cellular pleated blinds, in blackout fabric such as LUNA, do not have cord holes, because the cord runs through the honeycomb structure. So there is no light ingress through the face of the fabric.However, please be aware that Perfect Fit Blinds using blackout pleated or ceuular fabric are not 100% light tight. Perfect fit is available as Roller, Venetian or pleated blinds. If you are looking for motorised blinds, only the Roller blind version of Perfect Fit can be motorised. If you would like electric pleated blinds, these are only available as a standard screw fix blind, to be installed inside the recess or around the recess rather than perfect fit clip fit blinds.
