If you live in a rental property, as summer approaches and the days and nights warm up, you'll be wondering how best to let fresh air in through the doors in your home without also letting in those pesky insects. Our 'no drill' roller fly screen is the perfect solution for the doors in your rented home.
Offering stylish hideaway protection from insects and the comfort of fresh air. Simply pull the mesh screen across from its discrete roller cassette to cover the door opening when you need it. Otherwise, the screen can be retracted back into the spring-loaded roller cassette, out of the way. The mesh runs in aluminium U-shaped top and bottom channels, which are powder-coated in white and feature 'wind pile' which grips the mesh keeping it within the channels in stronger winds.
The 'no drill' roller fly screen is supplied as a kit to suit a maximum size of 160cm x 225cm. It can be easily trimmed to suit doors of smaller sizes.
The screen features tear-resistant fibreglass mesh which reliably keeps mosquitoes, flies or wasps away from entering through your window. The spring-loaded roller cassette and side channels are made from robust powder-coated aluminium. A special anti-wind brush retains the fibreglass mesh securely in the channels, even in stronger winds.
This incredibly practical roller fly screen kit offers simple and quick screw-free installation within the recess of your door using clever cassette and side channel end-caps which expand to grip the sides of the reveal. Alternatively, the screen can be face-fixed directly to the door frame or around the recess using screws.
The screen is operated using a handle integrated with the hem bar of the screen. The handle allows operation from both sides of the door. Uncontrolled recoil of the screen is prevented by using an integrated brake mechanism.
