What are sash windows?

Sash windows are a type of window design featuring two panels (sashes) that slide vertically or horizontally within a frame, allowing for opening and closing. They are commonly found in Georgian and Victorian homes.

How do sash window blinds differ from regular blinds?

Sash window blinds are tailored to fit the unique structure of sash windows. They can be designed to move in tandem with the window or to remain stationary, allowing for easy operation of the sash window.

Can you put blinds on sash windows?

Yes, you can put blinds on sash windows. Due to the unique design of sash windows, which slide vertically, it's essential to choose blinds that can accommodate their function and style. There are various blinds available that are specifically designed or suitable for sash windows.
