What Are You Trying to Achieve with Vertical Blinds?

When buying any product online or even offline it is important to try and consider all the factors that you are trying to achieve. This is even more important when there is a large range of similar products that have varied features. Yes, they are all blinds, but are they blackout blinds or light reflective blinds, for example?

To help you make the right decisions we have created a list of common goals when purchasing blinds.

Fashion – When there is such a large range of products, fashion is usually what our customers lean towards. To cater to this need we not only offer a superb range of colours, textures and patterns but we also offer grass, leather and suede effects!

Energy Saving – With the rising prices of pretty much everything nowadays and the effects we, the consumers, are having on global warming, we believe it is important to try and supply economic and environmentally friendly products. An example of this is our light reflective blinds, these reflect heat out in the summer and trap the heat inside when its winter. This in turn reduces your bills, for example heating and air conditioning

Blackout – A popular product in terms of functionality is our Blackout Fabrics. The fabric completely blacks out the light, which enables you to sleep easier during day light hours.

Dim out – Our dim out range is a great choice for those looking to filter out the light. These fabrics are perfect for bedrooms where light ingress is a problem.

Budget collection – It is not uncommon that we get orders large or small where the customer wants to decorate the windows at the lowest price possible. To accommodate for this we have a great selection of budget or value blinds.

Measuring Your Windows

An issue we often come across is that people are eager to purchase blinds from our website but fear they may measure their windows incorrectly and end up with the wrong sizes for their windows. To solve this problem we offer comprehensive illustrated instructions on how to correctly measure your windows for vertical blinds.

Controlling Blinds with Samsung Smartthings

We're being asked rather a lot at the moment if it's possible to control our blinds using Smartthings by Samsung. Smartthings is a low(ish) cost home control system that is possible to configure yourself to control a number of compatible devices within the home. It is exclusively distributed through Amazon and Currys/PC World. It uses z-wave technology, but doesn't appear to support a great number of other products "out of the box". Therein lies the problem!
