At Newblinds.co.uk, we offer a range of anti-ligature devices. Anti ligature products are specifically designed to reduce the risk of self harm. The main application is in psychiatric wards of general hospitals and prisons where the risk of self harm is higher than usual.
Our anti-ligature products feature a patented state of the art magnetic suspension system which utilizes the power of magnetic brackets to install objects which may present a risk of ligature. When substantial weight is put on these objects (around 20kg) the force of the magnets is overpowered and the connection breaks. Once the problem is resolved the magnets can be easily connected again.
The obvious benefit of our system is that the connection can be broken and reattached over and over again without any noticeable loss in the magnets force.
The magnetic suspension system is extremely versatile and can be used in many different applications. We split our anti-ligature products into four sections: blinds, tracking, hooks & rails, and accessories
Blinds – We currently supply roller and vertical blinds for use with our magnetic suspension system.
Tracking – We offer a range of tracks including curtain tracks, shower tracks and hospital cubical tracking.
Hooks & Rails – An area of key ligature risk are hooks and rails. Our anti-ligature products are the perfect answer for this problem. The range includes coat hooks, wardrobe rails, towel rails and a rail hook set.
Accessories – We also have a huge range of essential interior fixings - these included items such as soap dishes, toilet roll holders, shower head holders and even mounting plates so your own accessories can be mounted safely.
