Brown Blinds | Brown Wooden Blinds

Brown is a common neutral colour which is available in a spectrum ranging from lighter tones to darker hues such as chocolate and walnut. If overused within a room, it can make the room seem dark or claustrophobic, so brown blinds are best used to complement other light and bright colour schemes.

Consider pairing browns with whites, oranges, greens, yellows,  mustards, purples and blues. This makes brown roller, blackout, vertical, venetian and wooden blinds a versatile choice regardless of your main colour scheme.

Brown wooden blinds are a popular choice with wood finishes including walnut, mahogany and pecan - offering precision control of privacy, light and strong glare.

Our no-drill systems, Perfect Fit and INTU are available with brown fabrics and materials, but also with brown frames and hardware to match dark brown UPVC windows

Cellular Dimout

Energy Efficient and with no visible holes for the lifting cords. Cellular (a.k.a Honeycomb or Duette fabrics) are fast overtaking single pleat fabrics as the most popular choice for pleated blinds. Cellular fabrics consist of double-layered cells of fabric that act as an insulating cushion between the inside of your home or conservatory and the outside world - keeping the heat in during the winter months and keeping your property cool in summer! Lifting cords run through the middle of the honeycomb structure, meaning there are no visible holes in the surface of the fabric. All fabrics are a uniform white in colour on the exterior face and coloured on the inside face. Translucent fabrics allow a soft diffused light in whilst maintaining privacy and controlling glare and heat!

All About Brown Blinds

Choosing the right color for your blinds is an important decision, as it can greatly affect the overall look and feel of your space. Brown is a popular and versatile colour that can complement any decor style, from traditional to modern. It is also a great choice for those who want to add warmth and cosiness to their room.

Types of Brown Blinds

Brown Wooden Blinds

These blinds are made of real wood and provide a natural and warm look to any room, along with precision control of light and privacy. They are great for living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms.

Brown Faux Wood Blinds

These blinds are made of composite materials that mimic the look of real wood but are more durable and affordable. They are great for kitchens, bathrooms, and high-humidity areas. They also allow variable privacy and light control.

Brown Vertical Blinds

These blinds are made of vertical fabric slats that can be drawn wide open, or rotated to control light and privacy. They are great for large windows, sliding glass doors, and office spaces.

Brown Roller Blinds

These blinds are made of a single piece of fabric that rolls up and down to control light and privacy. They are great for modern and minimalist decor.

Brown Roman Blinds

These blinds are made of soft fabric that forms in horizontal folds when raised. They are great for adding a soft touch of elegance to any room, and can be supplied with blackout lining making them ideal for bedrooms and elsewhere in your home.

Brown Venetian Blinds

These are a timeless option that offer great light control and privacy. They're perfect for creating a classic and elegant look.

Benefits of Brown Blinds

There are several benefits to choosing brown blinds for your home. First and foremost, brown is a natural and calming color that can help create a relaxing and soothing environment. It can also provide a great backdrop for other colors and patterns in your room, allowing you to easily mix and match with other decor elements.

In addition, brown blinds can be a great choice for those looking for a more classic and timeless look. Unlike trendy colors that may go out of style quickly, brown is a classic color that will always be in fashion. Brown blinds also come in a wide variety of materials, including wood, faux wood, and fabric, so you can choose the type of blind that best fits your needs and budget.

Choosing the Right Brown Blinds

Choosing the right brown blinds for your space is an important decision that requires careful consideration of several factors. Here are some key factors to keep in mind while selecting the right brown blinds:

Room Type

The type of room where the brown blinds will be installed plays a significant role in selecting the right shade of brown. For instance, a light brown shade could work well in a living room where you want a warm and welcoming feel, while a darker brown shade would be better suited for a study or office, where you want a more professional and serious ambiance. Similarly, a bedroom might benefit from a medium brown shade that promotes relaxation and calmness.

Window Size and Shape

Another important factor is the size and shape of the window. Brown blinds come in various styles, including roller blinds, vertical blinds, wooden blinds, Venetian blinds, and more. Depending on the size and shape of your window, you might want to consider different types of brown blinds to achieve the desired look and functionality.

Furniture and Decor

It is important to consider the furniture and decor in the room where you will be installing brown blinds. The right shade of brown can complement or contrast with your existing furniture and decor. For example, if your room has light-colored walls and dark furniture, dark brown blinds can provide a striking contrast, while light brown blinds can blend in with the overall theme.

Personal Preferences

Ultimately, the selection of brown blinds comes down to personal preferences. You might want to consider what colors you typically wear, what colors you have in other parts of your home, and what emotions you want the room to evoke. You may prefer a specific type of brown or a certain style of blind that fits your aesthetic preferences.
